ACCE PROGRAM HIGHLIGHT

Updated: Aug 22

Howdy ACCE Friends

As part of our continued communication effort, we are highlighting specific accredited programs within the ACCE system. These are randomly selected schools, professional development, and workforce programs. Hopefully, this will help the ACCE community have an even better appreciation of the efforts made for accreditation, reaccreditation, and certification.

Please note that most of the content for this Highlight is provided by the Program's website and the latest ACCE Visiting Team Report for the Program.

Boise State University

AN INNOVATORS MINDSET

Boise State University serves students in Idaho at their Boise campus and worldwide with online programming. As Broncos, they have embraced Blue Turf Thinking, a mindset that helps them lead the way, go beyond, and make history.

THE STORY

Boise State University has had many history-making moments since its humble beginnings as a junior college in 1932 to recent accomplishments as Idaho’s largest university.

It’s easy to see how Boise State has grown over the decades since 1932. But as Broncos they have never lost their focus on grit, determination – and having a little fun!

BUILD YOUR FUTURE TODAY

The Department of Construction Management at Boise State University is located in the College of Engineering. The program has been developing individuals to actively and successfully move into management within the construction industry for over 40 years. Over this time, they have gained many lasting and deep friendships and many of our alumni work in construction management around the world. As you look around this site, pay special attention to their Student Success pages. Their student body is actively engaged in many outside activities, from community engagement to regional and national competitions. Through these activities the students show their success and contribute back to those who support the program.

The Construction Management Department at Boise State University is nationally recognized and is accredited by the American Council for Construction Education (ACCE). There are currently over 400 students enrolled in the Construction Management program at Boise State University. The Department of Construction Management offers a Bachelor of Science, a minor in Construction Management, and a Certificate in Construction Management for industry professionals.

Boise State University is hosting the 9th ACCE accreditation team this coming October. Boise State's Department of Construction Management has been ACCE-accredited since 1984.
